As a longtime fan of the music artist "Belly," I was shocked in 2023 when I seen that he dropped "Mumble Rap 2 Acapellas." Once I seen the acapellas, I had an idea... What if we created a remix album of the tracks and did them in a completely different sound (style?)

I reached out to my partner in crime b.k.a. Jaffar Smith and mentioned the idea and he was with it. What made this whole project even more interesting was the fact that Jaffar hadn't heard too much of Belly's music. This gave him almost little to no reference point on how the original music sounded. We both agreed that Jaffar would not do any homework in researching old Belly music. I told him the goal is to go boom bap and Jaffar came with the grimey-boom bap on the remixes..

The result of this concept came out amazingly. I produced some visualizer videos and flipped a few of Belly's own music videos to our beats to complete the project. One of the biggest highlights from the music was hearing Gucci Mane on a boom bap track.
