Ground Turkey
Korean Turkey
This is my go-to asian protein dish. It's really simple to make and there is always a lot of flavor. I've swapped the ground turkey for ground beef and ground chicken with great results. I'd say go lighter on the crushed red pepper flakes if you're not into spicy. If you're ok with spicy I recommend trying the recipe as is and adjusting after your first go-round.
I recommend prepping your ingredients. This includes preparing your garlic.
Step 2
In a large skillet, over medium heat brown the ground turkey 8-10 minutes until fully cooked.
Step 3
While turkey is cooking, make the sauce. Add garlic, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper to a bowl. Mix together.
Step 4
Once turkey is fully cooked add the sauce to the skillet. Cook 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens/absorbs into the turkey.
Step 5
Serve the turkey over the rice/riced veggies or whatever you like. Garnish with sesame seeds and if you're fancy green onion.
